On behalf of the Management Committee, fellow Members and Staff, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you as a prospective new member of Sherwood Forest Golf Club.  We are delighted you have taken the decision to look at joining this prestigious Club.

Sherwood Forest Golf Club is ranked consistently in the Top 100 Golf Courses in the British Isles, with both Golf World and Golf Monthly.

The English Golf Union, when staging the 2006 England Boy’s Amateur Stroke Play Championships, described Sherwood Forest Golf Club as being ‘in a league of its own’. As a premier course the club has hosted many national competitions over the years, including the ‘British and English Seniors’, regional qualifying for the ‘Open Championship’ and in 2020 The Men’s English Amateur Championship (Brabazon Trophy)

The Committee has a number of other exciting plans for continuing the development of all the facilities at the Club over the next few years and will keep all Members informed of these developments.  Each year the AGM is held in June when the Committee detail the Club’s finances and progress over the past year.  All Members are invited to attend.

    There is a joining fee from the age of 25, this is double the annual subscription.

    If needed the joining fee can be paid (with a 10% supplement) at a rate of 30% 1st year, 25% 2nd year, 20% 3rd year, 15% 4th year and 10% in the 5th year)

    Junior membership from £65 per year.

    We do have monthly payment options if required.
