“Sherwood Forest Golf Club proved once again to be a first class championship venue for one of England Golf’s most prestigious tournaments in the calendar. 288 players competed in the English Senior Men’s Open Amateur Championship and it felt as though each and every one of them complimented the condition of the golf course, the service and hospitality within the clubhouse, and the support from the golf club members and volunteers. Thank you for the superb day out when I visited your club for the Investec Open Golf Day. I was very impressed with your club. The course was in very good condition and the members I met were very approachable and friendly. In addition the food and refreshments along with the staff were excellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my golf and although it is a very challenging course, I did not embarrass myself. I hope that you will be on the Investec list for 2014. I so, I will be putting you as my first choice to play.
